Plot
After being released from prison, Dwight “The General” Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters. Sylvester Stallone’s first starring role in a television series.

The opening sequence features various photographic and painted views and Oklahoma landmarks in the New York landscape: A statue of a Sioux Indian chief, a “Touch the Clouds” hooded jacket, and a wearing a bone necklace (pectoral plate) atop the Brooklyn Bridge on Manhattan’s main avenue. The Manhattan borough of New York City has a number of numbered “boulevards” intersected by smaller numbered streets.

episode (2022). Beautiful and relatively deep characters, believable plot and tolerable pace are the driving force of this series.
Stallone is a good lead, but I really like Andrea Savage and her character, very good performance
I really respect that Stallone doesn’t try to look younger when his character Dwight is honest about his age and how it might affect his relationship with a younger woman. The cinematography and music are nothing special, both are good enough to make the show entertaining, but they don’t add value or stand out.

The show seems pretty average in my opinion, but I’m giving it an 8/10 because it’s a solid show, not a TV/cinema masterpiece or a tour de force.
