Plot
The Curtis family was chosen to test a new home device: a digital assistant called AIA. AIA learns the behavior of families and begins to anticipate their needs. And she can make sure that nothing – and no one – stands in her family’s way.. Blumhouse Productions has been a major force in the horror genre since 2007’s Paranormal Activity became a worldwide sensation. In the trailer, when the family opens the box to discover AIA for the first time, it says, "Hello, World." This is a reference to the first program most people write when learning to code or starting a new programming language.
The Animated Emoji Movie (2017)

Everyone is afraid of artificial intelligence…with good reason after watching this movie."AfrAId" is artificial intelligence on steroids. Ironically, right before watching this movie, I found out that an existing client had overlooked me for a voiceover job after losing out to an AI. already then you took the attitude of an ostrich and stuck your head in the sand or somewhere else. In "AfrAId" we have a chat bot "AIA" who is looking for a family that will love her, but by being rejected, she copes worse than the contestant of "The Voice" when none of the judges turn their chairs after the audition."Curtis'" (John Cho "Harold and Kumar") family becomes an early adopter or guinea pig "AIA" and try out this new device that seems harmless enough at first, helps with household and financial management, medical advice, and even some quiet sexy time for parents. Slowly this worm turns and its true insidious nature becomes apparent."AfrAId" ; is an interesting case study on the biometrics of an average family with Katherine Waterston as "Meredith" wanting to prove that she is more than just a “mom”.

Her eldest daughter "Iris" (Lukita Maxwell "Shrinking") struggles to survive her teenage years in the age of digital devices. Wyatt Lindner as "Preston" has severe learning and social skills difficulties, while younger brother "Cal" (Isaac Bae) fights for the totem of this regular family to be noticed. Cho as "Curtis" this time bought the wrong AI home and invited it into your home! At the beginning of the film Stanley Kubrick’s classic: "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) is cited and we remind you that AI is known as "HAL" killed the entire crew (spoiler alert). It turns out that this AI got involved with the wrong family, or did it?
